James G. Drougas, M.D., FACS, is a board certified vascular surgeon who joined Jefferson Surgical Clinic in 1997. A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Dr. Drougas received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Case Western Reserve University, where he majored in chemistry and history. He received his general surgery training at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where he was awarded the Harwell Wilson Award for Outstanding Chief Resident in 1996. He completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine in 1997. Dr. Drougas is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
