Mark A. Schmidt, M.D., FACS, is a board certified urologist who joined Jefferson Surgical Clinic in 2000 and has practiced in the Roanoke Valley since 1994. A native of Marietta, Georgia, Dr. Schmidt received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1981 from Presbyterian College and a Master of Science degree from Clemson University in 1984. He is a 1988 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and completed residencies in general surgery and urology in 1994 at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Schmidt is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Urology.
