Robert L. A. Keeley, M.D., is a board certified thoracic surgeon who was a founder of Jefferson Surgical Clinic in 1956. A Roanoke, Virginia, native, Dr. Keeley attended Roanoke College and the University of Virginia. He was a 1944 graduate of the University of Virginia Medical School. Dr. Keeley completed his internship at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia, in 1945 and completed his residency at the Duke University Medical School. Dr. Keeley is well known for his service to his family, his community, and his profession.
