Raising Change for Change for the Feeding America Go Orange Campaign!
From now until December 15th our staff is participating in the Change for Change fundraising event to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank. For every dollar we raise Second Harvest will be able to buy $8 worth of food for those in need. So we’re digging around in our pockets, checking the sofa cushions, jiggling the penny jars, and raiding our washing machines for loose change. Coming to the Jefferson Surgical Clinic from Carilion Clinic where she worked for 31 years, most recently as a Perioperative Quality Specialist, Leslie will be our new Director of Nursing! As Director of Nursing, Leslie will be working closely with the almost 25 nurses we currently have on staff. She’ll be recruiting, hiring, training and supervising, and managing day-to-day tasks related to patient care, as well as monitoring safety and regulatory issues.
