Charles D. Daniel, M.D., is a board-certified urologist who joined Jefferson Surgical Clinic in 2004. A native of Lynchburg, Virginia, Dr. Daniel received a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry from Washington and Lee University in 1993. He was a 1998 graduate of the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Daniel completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in June 2000. In 2004 he completed a residency in urologic surgery at UAB. Dr. Daniel is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Urologic Association.  

Dr. Daniel believes in philosopher Mimonides’ quote that “the physician should not treat the disease, but the patient who is suffering from it.”

Hailing from Lynchburg, Virginia, Dr. Daniel, his wife – a rheumatologist – and their three children now live on a farm just outside of Roanoke. When he’s not working, Dr. Daniel enjoys the great outdoors, fishing, kayaking, and archery. He also coaches football and baseball in Franklin County youth leagues.
