JSC Adds Two Nurse Practitioners

iPiccy collageJefferson Surgical Clinic is pleased to announce it has added two nurse practitioners to its staff. Christin Clark, NP, is providing patient care in the Vascular Clinic while Susan Blick, NP, is providing advanced-level care in the Otolaryngology Department.

Clark is a familiar face at Jefferson Surgical Clinic. She joined JSC in January 2014 as an R.N. supervisor. This spring she completed her M.S. in Nursing at the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Jefferson College of Health Sciences.

She’s now caring for patients alongside vascular surgeon, Dr. James Drougas.

“I love working with the talented physicians in the vascular center at JSC,” said Clark. “I’m excited to be in a new role where I can be even more involved with the wonderful patients who trust us with their care.”

New to the staff is Susan Blick. She’ll be working alongside Dr. Gregory Zachmann in providing patient care at JSC’s Otolaryngology Department, also known as the ENT.

Prior to arriving in Roanoke, she was a nurse practitioner in Macon, Georgia for 14 years and provided assistance in the fields of primary care, oncology, respiratory and sleep medicine, and pain management.

“Susan’s dedication to her work isn’t just reflected in her resume,” said Karen Tuttle, CEO at Jefferson Surgical Clinic. “We’ve already had the privilege of watching her put that experience to work and it’s clear she will be an asset to JSC’s patients and the clinic itself.”
