Steven G. Harris, M.D., is a board-certified plastic surgeon who received a Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University, where he majored in biomedical engineering. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Duke University in 1984 and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School six years later. He fulfilled his hand surgery fellowship at Kleinert Kutz Hand Surgery Center in Louisville, Kentucky and his plastic surgery residency at Duke University in 1993. Dr. Harris joined the Jefferson Surgical Clinic’s team of surgeons and specialists in 2006.
A native of Daytona Beach, Florida, Dr. Harris moved his practice to the Roanoke, VA, area in 1993. He is married to Dr. Kathy Amoroso and they have three children. Outside of work, Dr. Harris enjoys building scenery and props for local theatre groups.
