Statistics show that one out of every six men will get prostate cancer, and 32,000 men die from it each year. It’s important to protect yourself from this disease every month, but Prostate Cancer Awareness Month is a great time to remember the risks, get tested and educate yourself about prevention.
Prostate Cancer occurs when cells around the prostate grow beyond their natural life span and form malignant tumors. This particular type of cancer develops slowly, which is why it’s so important to get tested regularly and maintain a proactive prevention approach, including monitoring your diet, maintaining a healthy weight, and getting enough exercise.
